ingredients

5 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
¹⁄₂ cup margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
¹⁄₂ cup milk
Topping
Blend together in bowl
1 cup brown sugar
¹⁄₂ cup flour
¹⁄₃ cup butter
1 cup pecans, chopped

directions

Mix first 7 ingredients together in a large bowl, then pour into a 9x13-inch pan.
Top with topping mixture and place in a 375°F oven for 40-45 minutes.

What to cook tonight

My husband and I and our 23 year old son live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We love Italian dishes, as well as good ol' meat and potatoes......but always looking for new methods of cooking. Love to cook with wine, it seems to add a nice rich flavour to everything. I don't have a favourite cookbook, aside from the messy one I've compiled with all the screenrints from Recipezaar. Some day I'll have to motivate myself to type them out on cards and put them in a neat recipe box. I love this website...gives me so many new ideas. Some are hits and some are misses....but you gotta take the good with the bad! :-)
