- Cook the onion, red pepper, and diced tomatoes in the oil in a 2-quart pot until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the pureed tomatoes, capers, salt and pepper; bring to a boil.
- Cook 15 minutes.
- Fold in the marjoram.
- Serve hot over pasta.
I looked for a quick sauce to save my bored pasta, add sugar and scallions to this simple great sauce and Bam ! That's what I call tasty, easy to make and simply wonderful ! Thank you !!
