- 1 lb cream cheese
- 2 (16 ounce) bags frozen mixed peppers
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
directions
- Put peppers in colander and sprinkle with salt.
- Let set 1 hour.
- Rinse.
- Put all ingredients except cheese in large saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Simmer 1 hour.
- Remove from heat.
- Cool.
- Spoon pepper mixture over cream cheese and serve with crackers or breadsticks.
