Simple, sweet and tangy.
- 1 1⁄2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- 1⁄2 cup brown mustard
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup white wine
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Lighty sprinkle both sides of chicken with salt and pepper; place in a baking pan.
- Mix together brown mustard, brown sugar and wine; pour over chicken and turn to evenly coat.
- Bake at 375 for about 40 minutes or until done.
It doesn't get any easier than this for wonderfully flavored chicken breasts. I used a Chardonnay which worked perfectly with the mustard and brown sugar producing a flavorful and tender/moist chicken breast. You won't go wrong with this recipe.
This was good and easy to make. My DH made it. :) I wonder if it would be a good marinade too...
