Excellent bread! And the leftovers were great for garlic bread! I think the next time I make it (which will be soon!) I'll add just a touch of salt. Other than that, it was a keeper. Mmmmm!

This bread made the most awesome garlic bread! Great texture and flavor.

I made this last week and both loaves were gone in 48-hours. My daughter has been asking me to make it again ever since. She even cleaned the kitchen in exchange for this bread, lol. I followed directions exactly as given but brushed the loaves with butter before baking. Thanks for the post.

Excellant bread!!! I made it twice in one week, once in the oven and again in the bread machine. Must admit that both were good and the bred machine was by far easier but we did like it better baked in the oven. I brushed it with butter and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Made great garlic toast the next day and Marie was right in saying it is super as croutons. BF loves it and I can see that I will be making this alot this winter. TY mom!

I've made this three times now because I really like the slightly sweet taste to it. All 3 times I kept the dough in the bread machine and finished it in the machine, rather than taking the dough out and shaping it into 2 loaves and baking it in the oven. Any leftover bread makes outstanding croutons.

We enjoyed this bread my children told me to make it more often. I did use spleat flour to make it so I had to decrease the water amount. I'd tell others to make this one especially if they like bread that has a sweet taste to it.
