Beautiful color! We did not add any sugar as the red hots made it sweet enough. I also made it in a coffee pot instead of a tea maker but it worked out fine.

WOW!! This made an awesome brew of tea. I filled up the water well, because I don't put ice in the pitcher while the tea is brewing. I did have to help the cinnamon candies along but they melted and the flavor was incredible. Didn't add extra sugar--all my taste testers thought it was fine without. I made 6 quarts and we took it to a UA tailgate. I poured into gallon jugs and packed it up in an icechest. Very refreshing and everyone loved it. Thanks AWW.

I'm sorry, but I didn't care for the iced tea. The cinnamon taste in the red hots candies seemed to over power the taste of this beverage. I did however, added 2 more tea bags, which gave the tea a nice tea taste to it, but other than that, I didn't care for the end results. I ended up throwing out the tea.

I guess I'm the only one here who did not care for this. Half the tea I added sugar, and the other half without, to see which tea I'd like best, but needless to say I didn't care for either. The cinnamon seemed to over power this beverage, and I couldn't even taste the tea itself. For those who'd like to make this, I suggest adding 1 or 2 more tea bags, so you can at least taste the tea.

This was the best drink I fixed today! Fixed it on the stovetop, as I don't have an iced tea maker! Also cut the recipe down, because I made it just for me. I used 1 qt of water to 2 tea bags. Poured the boiling water over the teabags and 1/4 cup red-hots. Cooled it down and filled a 20 oz glass with crushed ice and then the tea. Wonderful...and will have again. Thnx, so much, for sharing your great tasting recipe, Woofie. Made for Comfort Cafe Snow Queen Chalet Jan 2010.

Super! We really liked this simple to make drink. I think I'd drink it warm in the winter and cold like this in the summer. I didn't add any more sugar because we thought the cinnamon candies added enough sweetness. Thanks for posting! Made for ZWT4.

This was wonderful! I love anything cinnamon, so this was a great treat. I made it on the stove top and it made a very large batch. This is also very good warm with cream. After smelling it as I made it, I couldn't wait for it to cool off.

This is wonderful as I knew it would be. It really hits the spot and I will be drinking a lot of this when it gets warmer here! Thanks for sharing this great drink!

This iced tea was a natural to be a hit w/me. I have several recipes that use cinnamon candies & they are 1 of my favourite ingredients. I made the sugar-sweetened version on my stovetop & used *Apple and Cinnamon Twist* tea by the London Fruit & Herb Co. It is the only tea I drink & gave me a head start of sorts w/its cinnamon flavour. This tea is great & it only took 1 serving to get me fully addicted! TY, TY, TY :-)

I am so glad I adopted you AunWoofie as this is by far my favorite. I'm an icetea freak, and so this was a different spin on just plain-0. I too didn't add any additional sugar as the candy was enough. I had a hard time finding the red-hots. Finally I did find some at Walmart. Good job!!!

This was excellent. I went and bought an Ice tea maker just so I could try this. Well, we really wanted one too. The taste is wonderful, so full of favor, sweet, but not overly sweet. I can't wait to try it again. Thanks so much.
