I never liked coleslaw until I tried my husband's great aunt's. Now I can't get enough of it! Great with BBQ pork sandwiches. You can also use a bag of slaw mix instead of shredding the cabbage and carrots yourself.
Directions:
1
Shred cabbage and carrots into a bowl.
2
Mix mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar in a separate bowl; blending well.
3
Pour over shredded vegetables and stir to coat.
4
Chill.
5
Amounts of dressing ingredients can be adjusted to suit taste but always use the same amount of vinegar as sugar.

This was fantastic! So simple and great, fresh taste. Thank you! I wish that I would have found your recipe before the summer season....oh, well....it's now going to be a winter staple! I added a tablespoon of Honey Dijon.

I loved this coleslaw, it's so easy to make and tastes delicious. I used a bag coleslaw mix to make it super easy. I added a little salt and pepper.

I was wondering if this type of dressing could be used for cole slaw. Now I know. I use this dressing with mustard added for my macaroni salad or for a dip for chicken nuggets.
