Love this recipe! It tastes JUST like the sweet cream corn that they serve at a barbeque joint in Oklahoma called Swadley's. If I make a crock pot of this, my DH will try to eat the whole pot! He LOVES this corn. We even made this for Thanksgiving this year and he made me make extra just for him. Thank you SOOO much for posting!!!
This is the BEST EVER. Throw it all in a crock pot and stir occassionally. NOW IMPORTANT: it doesn't call for nutmeg but I put a tsp. and it MADE IT PERFECT!.... If I show up at Thanksgiving or Christmas without, my family would kick me out!
Recipe was awesome. I cooked it on high for 3 hours in crockpot and got rave reviews. I would suggest adding a little more sugar, but that is just my family's tastes.
