From "Bay Leaves" (1975, Junior Service League, Panama City, FL).
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 1 (1 lb) can whole kernel corn, drained
- Beat eggs. Add sugar, butter, & milk, beating well after each. Stir in corn. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Mix again and turn into a butered 1-qt casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Am going to try this one. Sounds close to my Momma's, only she used 1 egg per un drained can of corn, no milk, and about 3 TBLs of self rising flour per can of corn. It was sooooo good!
