Fantastic. Plan ahead needs to marinate
- 4 lbs chicken wings, tips removed
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3⁄4 cup water
- In a saucepan melt the butter; reduce the heat to low add the soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard and water. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool. When cool pour marinade in a large resealable storage bag, add ckicken wings, turning to coat. Place in refrigerator and marinate 2 hours, turning occasionally. When ready to bake pour wings and marinade in a 13x9x2 pan. Bake 350' for 45 minutes, or until no longer pink. Drain wings on paper towels or brown paper shopping bags.
Made these for a girl's movie night and they were a huge hit! I used low sodium soy sauce but otherwise made exactly as directed. I will definitely be making these again. Thanks for posting!
OUTSTANDING. We made these for a Mother's Day picnic... increased to 10 lbs of wings, grilled iwngs first, marinated for 1 hr, coated and baked for 20 minutes- there were tons of RAVES!! Thanks... I plan to make these again for the Memorial Day BBQ!
This recipe is so simple yet had such a fantastic flavour! I used thighs instead of wings and I served it with some Chinese rice and green beans.
