Made this as side for 3 but battoned some large carrots for the recipe and  forgot to drain and added the rest of the ingredients but no big drama as the juices were rather nice drizzled over the carrotsl Thank you MsSally, made for ZAAR Stars tag game.

A definite keeper!! Both my DS ate 2 servings of these carrots, and my 4 yr old said he loved them and I can make more tomorrow! DH and I also liked them. I doubled the recipe and ended up using 1 Tbs butter but otherwise made as it. Thanks for a new veggie in our rotation!! Made for Everyday Holiday May 2010.

Yum! What a great side dish. I made this as directed using cider vinegar and it was really tasty with some lamb chops. Thanks MsSally for sharing. And congrats on your football win!

Oh dear, for our tastes the white wine vinegar overpowered the carrots. I would try again using cider vinegar instead and cutting the amount in half. Thank you for posting MsSally. Made for Potluck Tag, please see my rating system as I rate tougher than most.

So easy and a big success for me and my baby. He wanted more carrots. And I omitted the salt. I used butter. I cooked the carrots 7 minutes at high. Thanks MsSally :) Made for Holiday Tag.

Easy, colorful, and if nothing else great basic microwave carrots! We all thought the vinegar was too strong, but were divided about whether to cut it back to a few drops or just leave it out. The great part of this is that the components can be set up before you get serious about dinner, and then cooked quickly, with little effort, away from the activity on the stove. Made for Market Tag and served with Apricot Glazed Chicken Breasts, rice, and steamed broccoli.

These were really good and easy to make. I love to make dishes in the microwave. I did forget to add the vinegar (didn't realize it until I sat to write my comments) but everyone liked them even without.

Delicious! I love it when comfort food can be somewhat healthy at the same time.

Enjoyed these sweet carrots a lot! Loved the touch of vinegar with the sweetness. Would add some pepper (because I love pepper!!) next time. Thanks MsSally!

This was a great side dish especially after a long day of work, they were so easy to make. I've not done carrots in the microwave before, so I had them in for the 5 minutes, which I think was too long for my microwave. I liked the sweetness of the carrots and may increase the vinegar just a little to get more of the tang. DH enjoyed these.

These were so good MsSally. I used mini carrots and fig balsamic vinegar. We enjoyed the carrots prepared this way, sweet and tangy. Thanks for sharing.

Very pleasant and mildly flavored carrots. The vinegar just adds a slight tanginess to the sweet ness of the sugar. The flavor is very appealing to kids, but I think for adults maybe add some herbs or some other spice to compliment the mild flavor (which I will do next time). Thanx for sharing the recipe!
