I'd gotten this same recipe from the Kraft website, and finally tried it. It is amazing! We added zucchini, tomatoes and sweet potatoes to our kabobs. Love grilled veggies... and the orange juice adds a nice flavor to the bbq sauce.
These were not only super easy but also delicious. I made them with a combo of red and green pepper but without the pineapple and they were just simple yummy. I already plan on making a bunch of them for an upcoming barbecue.
Very easy and so tasty for a something quick on the grill. I used green bell pepper and onion pieces along with the chicken and pineapple. Very good flavor.
I saw this recipe in the Summer 08 Kraft magazine. I followed the recipe exactly and these simple little kabobs deliver. I used Sweet Baby Ray's original BBQ Sauce with the OJ, fresh pineapple. I had a little extra pineapple and peppers, so I also made veggie kabobs and they were good too. This goes on my list of great and simple BBQ recipes.
So simple and delicious. I love grilled pineapple and with chicken it's wonderful! I used sweet onions instead of the red bell pepper which I think was a perfect substitution. I did toss my chicken pieces with a little Emeril's chicken rub ahead of time to give them a little extra flavor. I saw this recipe on the Kraft calendar too and had to try it! Thanks for posting so I can save it in my chicken cookbook. Pam
Eveybody loved them. You may want to edit and remind people to soak their skewers in water prior to use.
