You may make this spicy by adding cayenne pepper to taste.
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Cook briefly over low heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Taste and add more vinegar if necessary.
- Cool before serving, or use as a basting sauce.
Wonderful! I wasn't sure if it would fly with my crew because it isn't thick like the normal restaurant sweet and sour sauce but everyone really liked it. It was perfect with the egg rolls I served with it. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT 6.
