I made this recipe after trying a lot of different recipes and never getting the taste I wanted. I share with you and hope you like it as much as I do!
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- In a small pot dissolve the corn starch with part of the water until it doesn't have any clumps.
- Put the rest of the water and the other ingredients together, mix well and heat the pan on a medium heat.
- Keep mixing it until the color changes from brown to red.
- Enjoy it!
Oh this sauce is awesome! I'm still dipping away while I'm typing this. I can see myself making and keeping this in the fridge at all times. Made for PAC Spring 09.
