I borrowed the sauce recipe for some left over meatballs; it was so yummy and fast. I mixed all the ingredients in a saucepan (including a dash or two of garlic powder) cooked it until thick and tossed in the meatballs. Thank you for sharing! :)

These were pretty easy to make and pretty good. I think my only complaint is that I think they could have used just a teeny bit more flavor in the meat itself. But this is coming from someone who can't stand a cheeseburger seasoned with salt and pepper alone. I think next time I make these I will either add just a little bit of garlic to the meat or find a way to simmer them longer so the meat can absorb more of the flavor, or maybe both. Despite this small complaint, my husband and I have both agreed that this should be our go-to recipe for sweet and sour meatballs. Thank you! UPDATE: I made these tonight with 1/2 tsp. onion powder in place of the onion and added 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. With this addition, they were definitely a 5!

I gave this a 5. I though it was great. I had some rise krispies to use up and it worked wonderful.
