these green beans turned out pretty good. The recipe doesnt state if the green beans should be drained or not. I didnt drain mine and there was alot of juice. The flavor was good but I ended up adding more brown sugar to level out the vinegar a little more. I will probably serve these again but with variation.

I loved these beans. I was leary of the brown sugar, but they were perfect. I used six slices of bacon because it was the end of the package. Sauted the onions in olive oil. Thanks for a very good recipe.

These are delicious! I had them at a wedding last weekend and went in search of a recipe. I've had them with and without the almonds, both ways are good. I've never tried the pimiento, though. VERY tasty.

This is very good. The almonds were good as a garnish (didn't have any pimento)too. I will definitely make again.

This recipe surprised me. I didn't think I'd like it but, I did. Green beans are one vegetable I can tolerate but, don't like alot. This recipe made them more tasty. It was a bit greasy, but then I used five pieces of bacon so that added more grease. I omitted the almonds and pimento to save money. I will definitely use this recipe again.
