Sweet and Sour Bacon Dressing

I love sweet and sour anything and having bacon in it is a bonus for me. The flavors blend better if allowed to chill overnight.


  1. Fry bacon until crisp and brown.
  2. Drain bacon and crumble into small pieces once it is cool.
  3. Saute onion in bacon drippings until tender.
  4. Add sugar, vinegar and water; bring to a boil.
  5. Cool until room temperature.
  6. Combine vinegar mixture with Miracle Whip, beating until smooth.
  7. Add reserved bacon.
  8. Chill thoroughly.
