directions

  • Place tofu in chilled serving bowl.
  • Top with ingredients in order listed.
  • Do not assume this will taste like a great sundae.
  • DO not use if you have NOT used tofu before. This is for those of us who can nibble the tofu as we slice it. That takes a couple years for Western tastebuds.

  1. de-lish...i am incredibly lucky right now to have access to the best tofu i have ever had in all my tofu eating life...my Health Food store gets it delivered fresh twice a week from a local source who is OUTSTANDING and I know to go when the getting is prime...you could eat this stuff up on the walk home if you wanted to but i usual have the restraint to wait 'till i can prep it up some special way & prove to all who doubt how good tofu can be...this recipe is super yum :)...I chilled my bowl in the freezer for 24 hours no real reason behind this but glad i did), pressed the tofu under about 5 lbs of library books...then let it soak up the honey like a sponge (against direction flipped it so each side got some sweetness and chilled it more)...topped it with frozen 'nanna slices and some fine pecan granola (I know, not on the menu {sigh}...i had just made some and it went in all by itself, sort of, i mean again not a plan just happened and i just didn't feel like toasting nuts at the time - truth i think it made it better {wink})... along with raisins and more then a dash of nutmeg {:)} i believe i followed the suggested order somewhat but can't swear to it...I chilled it some more because i was doing other stuff and wanted to sit down and enjoy it like a special ice cream sundae :)...one bowl, two spoons ='ed my partner and I enjoyed it as an extremely special dessert...YUM...almost cake like because of the fabulous texture and the chilling mingling of ingredients- really indescribably good...hubby said it reminded him of tiramisu (i kid you not)- whatever- it "picked me up" big time and these western taste-buds appreciated it immensely despite their lack of proper sophistication (wink and nose thumb)...thank you doctor, 'twas just the medicine we needed!!! {lol} :)

I WILL NOT say they are Vegetarian or Vegan any longer due to the database changes. I DO NOT WISH YOU TO RECOMMEND THEM. Consider them as faulty. It's your own fault if you trust them. Don't bother to review. Don't ask me a question. I won't answer. I'm not here anymore. I will NOT warrent any recipe on this site put up by me as correct due to Scripps problems. IF they claim to have fixed it, I still do not warrent any recipe as correct except the ones that I put up personally on the tripod site so use any recipe posted under my name at your own risk. Basic? Lots of luck. Now the ones at chef.philocrates.tripod.com [see De Gustibus Veg*n in link on top], yeah, I will take responsiblity for all of them and the ingredients. I put them up and any errors are all mine. No the door didn't hit me on the ### but the skid marks in the parking lot are mine.
