This is from Veggie Life magazine, now defunct.
- 2 cups blanched almonds, slivered
- 1 cup white grape juice or 1 cup filtered apple juice
- In blender pulse almonds until they are a fine meal.
- Add 1/2 cup juice. Blend to paste. Scrape down sides of blender and make sure the almonds at the bottom are incorporated.
- Add the remaining juice and blend till smooth.
- The better the blender, the smoother the cream.
