- 1 (24 ounce) bag frozen meatballs
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1⁄2 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 pinch allspice
- 1 pinch freshly ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste
directions
- Pour beef stock into a large pot and put over high heat until it comes to a boil.
- Meanwhile, combine cream and cornstarch, reduce heat to medium and slowly add to beef stock while stirring.
- Add allspice, nutmeg and salt and pepper and cook just until it begins to bubble at the edges of the pot.
- Add frozen meatballs, stir and cover pot. Simmer covered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
