I have fond memories of Sweden and it was there that I learned to love fresh dill. They seemed to find a way to put in just about every dish!!! This one sounds delish. From and posted for ZWT.


  1. Core cabbage, then shred cabbage. Place in large pot and cook (on medium-high) in a small amount of water until tender (essentially steaming it). Will probably take about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain cabbage.
  3. Add remaining ingredients to cabbage, and stir.
  4. Serve.

oh yeah. we love cabbage here - it's so versatile (and cheap, lol). this was fast & easy which is perfect for our crazy schedule! made for zwt6 by the zanies!

Delish and very easy to make. I've never had a bad recipe from JanBride, so it was a no brainer when I picked it for ZWT6 ! Hurray for the No Nonsense Nibblers.
