  • Preheat oven 400 degrees.
  • Mash the bananas.
  • Add all the wet ingredients to the bananas and mix thoroughly.
  • Add the dry ingredients, except the raisins, to the wet ingredients and mix with electric mixer 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the raisins last and mix thoroughly.
  • Spray muffin tins with a grease release (Pam) and fill to the top of muffin tin.
  • Tap muffin tins on counter a couple of times to settle any bubbles in mixture.
  • Bake. Enjoy.

  1. Thanks for posting such a great recipe! This has to be the best bran muffins I have tasted without feeling like I'm chewing on a brick or eating a bunch of sugar. This recipe has great flavor and texture. We have made many batches and this has become a family favorite. Along with the raisins I like to add dried cranberries. Also, some batches I'll add chopped dried apricots, but I cut back to a little less than 3/4 cup of dried fruit. For a stronger banana flavor I freeze the bananas over night.
