      This is so good! It is easy to make and even my "picky" eaters liked it!! I prefer a few more spices however, and added also some A1 sauce.

      Wow..my mom passed away a few years ago and I inherited her recipe box but this recipe was not in it. She used to make this often while we were going up....thanks so much for posting! I will be making this tonight and am hoping MY kids love it as much as my brothers and I did!

      My mom started making this back int the 60's. She used hamburger bun halves instead of the franch bread and froze them for use later. We often had them in our lunchbox (just like cold meatloaf sandwich). Still one of my favorites.

      I thought this was a great basic recipe. I agree that it was bland for my families taste. I will add garlic and worcestershire next time.

      I thought this was ok but hubby did not, too bland for his tastes. You might try adding more seasonings or strong flavored veggies to give it the kick it needs.

      I thought this recipe was great. I used shredded velveeta for the cheese and did add a pinch of worcestershire. I had to leave out the mushrooms and onions because I was in a hurry but this still tasted great. I served it with a salad and my husband gave it the thumbs up! This is a definate keeper - simple, fast and yummy! Thanks Jude!
