A very simple and easy to make jalapeno dip perfect for pita chips or any other hardbreads!
- 3 jalapenos
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- De-seed and dice the jalapenos. In a mixing bowl blend all ingredientswith a fork. Chill and serve!
As promised, this is certainly super simple! Based on the previous reviewers, I decreased the amount of garlic powder a bit, and we quite enjoyed it. The creamy sauce had a nice effect on the spicy heat of the jalapeno and cayenne pepper. We enjoyed this with veggies and tortilla chips. Thanks for sharing! PAC Fall '11
Great dip! I doubled the recipe to take to a party, but only added 1 2/3 TBS garlic powder and it was great. I made this about 4 hours before the party so it melded well together and everyone loved it! Will make again since it is so easy! Made for PAC Fall 2011.
OK, I am a garlic nut, but I feel the amount in this recipe overpowers the spiciness of the jalapeno and cayenne pepper. The good points of the recipe is it takes very few, easy to find ingredients and it is simple to prepare. Next time I will decrease the garlic a bit and maybe increase the jalapeno.
