Basic Fool Medammas. The canned fava beans I used were so large! I think they should be peeled if they are because the skin is a bit tough. I did crush the beans before eating as I think is traditional. I probably used additional freshly squeezed lemon juice, sea salt, flat leaf parsley, and no optional chili flakes, plus the rest of the ingredients as stated. I will make a different Fool Medammas next time and always used smaller fava beans.
