This recipe is from a Greek monastery cookbook. Me and my DH love it as a side dish with steam cooked fish!
- Boil the carrots for 5 minutes just to get a little tender.
- Put them in a saucepan with enough water to cover them.
- Add butter, salt, pepper and sugar.
- Let them boil in low heat for about 30-35 minutes or until the water is saved.
