A recipe passed down from my great aunt. So easy, and so tasty! It comes out perfectly flaky every time! People will think you've spent a long time making these. Especially good filled with my butter tart filling (Butter Tart Filling).
- Cut the shortening into the flour, then stir in the water and mix.
- Roll out and cut with a 4" circle cutter or bowl. Fit into muffin tins. Add your favorite filling.
- Will make 12-24 tarts, depending on what size muffin pan you use.
