These came from severe PMS and no ingredients in the flat! They're really rich and chewy, and as a bonus are vegan and fat free :). They're best kept in the fridge.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Mix all ingredients together with a spoon/fork, then add enough water to make a thick batter.
- Spread into a loaf pan, and bake for 15 mins in the centre of the oven (I love them still gooey in the centre, cook for another 5 mins if you want them firmer).
- Cut into bars and serve frosted or plain, both are great!
Interesting experiment, but the result reminded me of SnackWell brownies. They were quite flat, both in flavor and in stature. They could have used an egg or baking powder to give them some body.
These were ok. The limited ingredients are appealing and they are super easy. I, however, thought the chocolate flavor was too strong and the texture was odd. I baked them for 20 minutes and they still seem kinda mushy, not really gooey but kind of structureless. They also completely went to crumbs when I tried to remove them from the pan.
I would add an egg and some milk instead of water but they were pretty bad
