Interesting experiment, but the result reminded me of SnackWell brownies. They were quite flat, both in flavor and in stature. They could have used an egg or baking powder to give them some body.
These were ok. The limited ingredients are appealing and they are super easy. I, however, thought the chocolate flavor was too strong and the texture was odd. I baked them for 20 minutes and they still seem kinda mushy, not really gooey but kind of structureless. They also completely went to crumbs when I tried to remove them from the pan.
Ok. Okay. Yum, but a little too strong. Flavor too strong too crumbly
I have been looking for this! Used to make these all the time... I used all purpose self rising flour. I would mix it all just enough water to get it wet and let it sit for 5 min. Then butter the pan and sprinkle pan with flour till it's covered then pour the batter in. So good!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? There IS a Goddess ; + } AND you must have sneaked this recipe from her kitchen. Thanks for sharing Rainbow Bubbles!!!!
