I grew up with an avocado tree in my backyard. My mom always made a quick version of guacamole in the following way. To this day, I think I prefer it over the fancier recipes.
- Remove the avocado from its skin and start mashing with a fork in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with desired amount of garlic salt and pepper.
- Add desired amount of salsa (I prefer La Victoria Salsa Suprema medium).
- I guarantee this guac will taste great, and you can mix it up in about 1 minute.
Pretty good. I am one who likes quacamole plain....no onions, tomatoes, chiles etc. This fit the bill nicely. Thank you.
Fast and easy recipe that uses ingredients I always have in my kitchen. This is a tasty quacamole recipe. Thanks for sharing your recipe Colby's Mom!
pretty similar to what I make, only I don't do the garlic, but it sounds yummy, and I always add lime and cilantro, can't live without the cilantro!
