This could not get any easier! The meat was tender and juicy. I served it with Herbes De Provence New Potatoes #224453 and Creamy Crock Pot Corn #225985. I had lots leftover and used it to make Asian Turkey or Chicken Salad With Mandarin Balsamic Vinaigrette #220300, Applebee's Club House Grill #112510, Garden Chicken and Stuffing #170236, and Breaded Turkey or Chicken Parmesan #229671. This will be added to my OAMC rotation, as it makes a great meal and very versatile planned leftovers. Made for Review My Recipe. Thanks for a keeper MsSally!
I used my own homemade salt-free dried onion soup mix and added a half cup of water. It was very good and the gravy I made with the drippings was outstanding. I will be cooking my turkey breast this way from now on.
I needed some cooked turkey for making two other recipes and this recipe was just great for that purpose. The effort required was minimal and the finished turkey was moist and flavoursome. I added some parsely, sage and thyme to the soup mix - and that was it: 5 minutes preparation. This recipe would be equally useful for preparing chicken when you're planning to make several recipes using cooked chicken. Thank you for sharing this recipe, MsSally.
