When my bananas start to get over ripe I peel them, wrap them and stick them in the freezer for these shakes. These can be modified by changing veggies and fruits.
- 2 -3 frozen bananas
- 1⁄4 cup organic yogurt (I use Stonyfield Farms Banilla)
- 1 teaspoon powdered soy protein concentrate
- 1⁄2 cup carrot juice (or orange juice)
- Add all ingredients to blender.
- Blend well.
I had this for breakfast this morning, and I loved it! I used three bananas, and I used V8 Carrot Juice, which is actually a blend of carrot & fruit juice. I will be having this again! [Made for Fall 08 PAC]
