This is a recipe from my mom. I could eat this creamy caramel-y stuff with a spoon!
- Cream the sugar and cream cheese until light; then mix in the vanilla.
- Chill 1 hour.
I got this recipe from my mom too, and it is great for apples. I love how quickly it goes together, I don't always chill for an hour and it still tastes great!
I used low fat cream cheese and Splenda brown sugar and some homemade vanilla. It all came together very nice. I would definitely serve this to company.
I wanted a quick dip to use with the variety of apples I bought today, and this was perfect. I used "1/3 less fat" cream cheese, and it worked just fine. Very nice & creamy dip. I had it with a granny smith apple this afternoon, and later I might try it with some graham cracker sticks. Thanks for sharing!
