  • 3 cups flour
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 18 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 (1/4 ounce) packet yeast
  • 1 cup water

directions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and let sit for 1 hour.
  • Add enough flour to handle, make into balls and put in greased baking dish.
  • Let rise 1 more hour.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

  1. They were better a day old but stil ok. They didn't rise up only out. They ended up being flat rolls. Going to try to find a better recipe for homemade rolls.
     
  2. These were pretty good -- the dough was extremely sticky, even after adding a substantial amount of flour and that made them very hard to roll into the balls. I ended up spraying butter flavored nonstick cooking spray on my hands to make them easier to work with (sounds gross, but it worked! :) The rolls weren't the best I've ever tasted but they were pretty good -- and I am definitely new to making bread products so it very well could have been the fault of the cook! :) I am definitely going to try again though -- thanks for posting!
     
  3. Exactly as the title states...super easy. Great taste. I shared half of the first batch with my in-laws, and the next day my father-in-law called, "hinting" for another batch! I've baked them twice this week already!
