Easy manicotti for a working mom--have to love a one pan wonder.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (32 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 34 cup water
  • 1 12 lbs chicken breast tenders (uncooked)
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 (8 ounce) manicotti (uncooked)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning

Directions

  1. Mix marinara sauce and water in medium bowl.
  2. Spread 1/3 of sauce mix in bottom of 13x9-inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle salt on chicken.
  4. Place one chicken tender into a shell.
  5. Repeat till no more chicken.
  6. Place remaining sauce in pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45-60 minutes.
  8. Serves 4-6.

I didn't get to taste this as I was running out of the house for a haircut before it finished. I left in the oven with some garlic bread for my husband and son. The directions don't say what to do with the cheese and seasoning, so I mixed the seasoning into the sauce and added the cheese for the last few minutes of baking. My husband said it was good and gave it 3 stars.
