Sunshine's Shrimp Mold

"This shrimp mold is fabulous! I am always asked to bring this to parties. For ease, I use a flexible mold coated with a little mayonnaise. Enjoy!!"

directions

  • Dissolve gelatin in water and set aside.
  • Over low heat, melt cream cheese into soup.
  • Combine mayonnaise, horseradish, mustard and pepper in bowl.
  • Remove cheese and soup from when blended.
  • Add add ingredients together and mix well.
  • Pour into mold and refrigerate until set.
  • Serve with crackers.

  1. I'm delighted to see this recipe posted! It is one I've been making for years too with lots of complements. You shouldn't use anything but Hellman (or Best) mayonnaise; it makes all the difference in the world. In a molded form it serves up beautifully with an array of accompanying crackers. I sometimes even use the tiny canned shrimp (4 oz.) well rinsed; they require minimal chopping.
