This dip can be a light, refreshing dessert too! Cook time is chill time.
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- fresh fruit, for dipping
- In medium bowl, stir together all ingredients except fruit.
- Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- Serve with fresh fruit.
This was perfect for a lovely sunny febuary day - it seemed as if summer was just around the corner! It's a good way to give plateful of fruit a nice interesting kick.
I prepared this using fresh squeezed orange juice and cut back the brown sugar slightly. I loathe marshmallow fluff and was soooo excited to find a wonderful fruit dip recipe that didn't require it. I served this with skewers of fresh pineapple, strawberries, kiwi and banana. The kids loved it.
