You want a sandwich, it's Sunday and the place is closed. *sigh* What to do??

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Marinate the chicken for a couple hours up to 24 hours in dill pickle juice (save the pickles or eat them).
  2. In a small bowl, beat the egg and milk together.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, pepper, msg, and salt.
  4. Add 1 to 1-1/2 tablespoons of egg mixture to dry mixture and mix to look like crumbly sand.
  5. Dip each piece of chicken in milk mixture until fully moistened.
  6. Roll the moistened chicken in flour mixture until completely coated.
  7. Let chicken rest during next step on a wire rack.
  8. Heat the frying oil in a dutch oven on medium to about 400 degrees.
  9. Drop all chicken into the hot oil and cook approximately 10 minutes (try to keep oil around 350-400 degrees). Test doneness by removing a piece and using meat thermometer or cutting open.
  10. When chicken is done, remove from oil and drain on wire rack (paper towels underneath).
  11. Spread butter on inside of bun and lightly toast on medium in medium pan on stove top.
