Loved these! The malt vinegar added a different flavor than the vinegars I'm used to using. They were just a bit too sweet for my taste (although that could be due to a conversion error--I used 1/3 cup). They had a lovely, fresh flavor even after only 3 hours in the fridge. I didn't know that it was possible to make pickles that tasted great so soon after making! I used cider vinegar and omitted the onions. We found these to be quite tasty and I'm sure I will keep these in the fridge once our cucumbers start coming in!
Very refreshing and easy to make.
I followed the instructions exactly and left it marinated overnight. The next day I had with buttered toast slices. Wordeful and unique, but I must say that I found it a bit sweet for my taste. Next time I'll reduce the ammount of sugar. Made it for Australian Februaty swap. Thanks for sharing!
These are delicious and so pretty. I followed recipe but didn't add onions, my DD hates onions. I love the fresh, clear taste. Made for Holiday Tag 2007

This recipe is fab! Very quick and easy and a great way to utilise surplus cucumber at this<br/>time of year. Used less sugar though. Goint to try next time with some chopped mint.<br/>Lasts for a week in the fridge and still tastes yummy!
