Don't remember where it came from. My kids loved it on ice-cream when they were young and now my grand kids love it. It's quick to fix and a lot cheaper then the store kind.
- 1 (4 ounce) boxcook and serve Jell-O chocolate pudding and pie filling
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Combine all but butter, cook until it comes to a boil (stir at all times) remove from heat add butter. Makes about 1 cup.
- Best if used when hot. May use any flavor pudding--we like chocolate or butterscotch best.
