A delightful Summer treat
- 1 1⁄2 cups ice
- 3 ounces strawberry daiquiri mix
- 1 ounce rum
- 6 ounces pineapple juice
- Blend the ice, mix, and rum together. Freeze for 30 minutes with big margarita glasses.
- Place the chunks of daquari in the chilled glasses and cover with pineapple juice.
PAC 2009 If I could give you 75 stars I would as that is how many stars you received from the Easter dinner table yesterday! This is definitely a keeper and will be used throughout the summer as the go to drink for company at the cottage. I use the pinapple juice from the pinapples on the hams, plus some regular pinapple juice. Used TGIF strawberry DQ mix and topped it off with sliced pinapples and strwberries on the glass. I think this would be great as a slushy. hmmm better go get more mix for the weekend. Thank you sticky. Great recipe and in my favorites! ps- for those that do not care for umbrella drinks or sweet drinks use unsweetened pinapple juice and add sugar to taste if needed. I did both and both were a a hit!
