Great way to use up all those squash this summer.
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 4 cups thinly sliced summer squash
- 1 medium sliced onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup grated cheese (any variety)
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Add squash, onion, salt, pepper and water.
- Cook covered 10 - 15 minutes or until squash is tender.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Eat and enjoy.
