I liked this custard type of dish. Very quick and easy to prepare..Not overly sweet..
This is a great recipe, especially considering how much work it takes to make (practically none). I used a 10-inch pie pan, and I used sweetened coconut. I thought I'd like the coconut on top extra crispy, so I baked it for more than the specified 30 minutes. It was really good! Thanks for posting.

this was a wonderful finale! we love coconut, and this was almost like a crustless cream pie. the flavor was great and yes, there are layers, which is a wonderful taste treat. i did have to cook it for 43 minutes, but we all enjoyed, this is a keeper
