Nice change of pace for a healthier cookie! Loved the dates, apples and nuts in this cookie. Because others stated it was a bit dry I was not overly concerned with totally draining the liquids from the fruit mixture and left a few tablespoons in there and that seemed to work for me. Moist and delicious cookie with a great texture that stood up to storage. Loved the fact that these are sugarless. Plan on making more for my Dad as a special treat that won't affect his sugar levels. Made in honor of those we all have loved but have lost through cancer during the Think Pink tag event. Love ya Bren!

These cookies were okay. They seemed a little dry to me. I think more raisins might have helped? Not sure if I will make them again but what can you expect from a healthy cookie? So as far as healthy cookies go it was good.

we took paulas idea and added it to these cookies. Also added a little splenda...about 1/4 cup and a handful of chocolate chips. It was a big hit here. Thank you Brenda

this is a cookie?!? to me it tasted more like a muffin. it was not bad, the taste was not terrible. however i planned on serving it to guests as a COOKIE. if i am going to indulge in a COOKIE, i want it to be worth the calories. to make this one palatable (to guests who are not health freaks), i had to put a pumpkin glaze on it. two stars. not awful, but definitely not making again. save your calories for chocolate.

Rating done by DD when she got in from school - she tried the mixture and a freshly baked cookie and loved them - I must confess to adding a handful of choc chips to make them more teenager friendly and it worked !! Thanks to Nick's Mom

My husband is diabetic so I'm always so glad to have a sugar free recipe to try. So many times they end up being a disappointment -- BUT NOT THIS TIME! I followed the directions exactly -- but I'm thinking the next time I might throw in a few diced dried apricots. Nick's Mom -- my husband thanks you for posting this recipe!!

These are certainly outstanding cookies ~ so full of fruit!! I've done a raisin & nut cookie before, but with the addition of the dates & the apple, well...! Gotta admit, though, that I used an EXTRA 1/4 cup of nuts [slivered almonds]! Many thanks for posting the recipe!

Thanks!! I _did_ replace the nuts with dark chocolate chips, so much for being sugarless, heehee. I also used some chopped up prunes we had instaed of raisins. Yummy!

These cookies are definately packed full of fruit and nuts. The recipe did not call for draining the fruit and the dough was a little wet. I was able to save the dough by adding additional raisins, nuts and about 1/3 cup flour as well as chilling until very cold. The end result was a soft cake cookie filled with delicious fruit and nuts.
