  1. My company raved about this bacon. I found that it took much longer than the recipe stated and I kept turning it over. I used 1 c. br. sugar, and 1 teas. of cinnamon. It really is decadent.

  2. These are sooo good. The recipe is orginally from the cookbook "Beyond Parsley" by the Jr. League of Kansas City--a great cookbook! It is important to cook the bacon until it is just shy of burning or this recipe doesn't turn out right.

  3. Boy, if it weren't for the fact that I was serving this as part of an appy selection, I would have eaten the entire pound myself! :)

  4. Skip the cinnamon and use fresh ground black pepper, what a treat!

  5. Was invited to a last minute party, asked to bring appetizer, decided to try these as of course had ingredients on hand, no trip to store. These were the hit of the nite. So easy I love and they tasted fabulous. Thanx for making my dish a hit.
