This is a good abrasive skin scrub that cleanses and stimulates the skin. From the book:Natural Beauty at home by Janice Cox.
- Wash your face with soap.
- While doing so, add sugar to the lather and massage gently into your skin.
- Rinse your skin with a mixture of equal parts of lemon juice and water.
- Rinse with cool water.
- Pat dry.
i liked this one, try using 1/2 tsp vanilla extract,1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp ground cloves for a yummy scent! it made for softer skin when applied on dry skin, then rinsed off in warm water.
I too have used plain old sugar to scrub my face - it works better than any high-priced fancy scrub in a jar, or those "body sugaring" treatments at an expensive spa. You can also mix the sugar with vitamin E oil, and rinse gently. Everyone should try this at least once - cheap, effective and non-toxic! You'll love the way your skin feels! Thanks, Charishma!
