To quote my boyfriend, "They're taste like sugar-coated biscuits, only blander." The texture isn't right and the end product is very bland. The cookie itself has almost no flavor and the splenda/cinnamon mixture on the outside doesn't supplement it sufficiently.

My only real criticism is that they were very cakey in texture, not really like a snickerdoodle. This maybe could be alleviated by pressing them flat before baking and making them a little smaller??? I don't know. I made them for my Mom, since she is diabetic. She did not like them at all. My husband and I both liked them OK and there were a couple people at the party that really scarfed them up. My sister said she would have liked them better if they hadn't been called "snickerdoodles", just because that sets up certain expectations in your mind and then you are disappointed. This is, again, because of the cakey texture. Good overall, though. And I would make them again for someone who couldn't have sugar.
