    This is a refreshing, almost calorie-free cold drink. The recipe is from a Vita-Mix Cookbook.

    Units: US | Metric

    • 709.77 ml grapes (green, red or mixed...seeds ok)
    • 1 slice lemon
    • 236.59 ml ice

      Place all ingredients in the Vita-Mix or other powerful mixer.

      Put on the lid and mix at high speed for about a minute.

      Serve in an old fashion glass or stemware. Garnish with fresh mint and a cherry with stem. Or, add some water to the ingredients, reduce the the ice and serve on the rocks.

      Greg, while sitting at the computer thinking that I needed a drink, I looked up and saw this recipe was the photo of the day. I had grapes, I had lemons and I had ice, so I threw it all in the blender to give it a try. It's really great! I let it go quite a while in the blender to get rid of the chunks, it had just the right sweet/tart blend. Thanks so much for a terrific drink! Now, I am!!

      This sounds wonderful! I try to avoid sugar and love lemonade so I can't wait to get home to my blender and try this.
