Finally...a cut-out sugar cookie success!! Like Angela I have tried many a recipe to only spell FAILURE! Thank heavens I tried one more time. Made this recipe yesterday as a good cut-out cookies is tradition for Christmas. They looked beautiful and tasted really good. Thank-you for submitting this recipe it will now be a tradition every year in my home.
This is the recipe I have been searching for! It is so easy and the cookies taste great. They roll out perfect and I make them for Christmas, bake sales, and class parties! Perfection!
I send these out to my friend in Fl & they arrived in perfect shape.I was so happy. The only thing I change was that I use 1/2 tsp vainilla & 1/2 tsp almond ext. I love this recipe
Excellent cookie. Rolled out perfectly (I did let it rest on the counter for 1/2 hr. 1st because I made the dough the day before) but after that it was great. I baked them for 10 min. per tray and they came out looking beautiful with the xmas sprinkles on them. Taste great too, a welcome addition to my xmas cookie platter. Thanks very much Angela
Very good, sturdy sugar cookies. They aren't overly sweet on their own, which is good, since you'll add decorative sugar, or glaze them. I baked them for 8 - 9 minutes (we like a softer cookie).
I'm a person who hates baking cookies. But when we needed some for a birthday party these were so easy and totally failproof. They didn't break much (I used a delicate shape) and tasted delicious
You were Right. The perfect cut-out cookie recipe.. Especially for all the sweet Preschoolers who decorated them for their Valentine's Day party today. Thank You!
