Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Sift the flour with baking powder, soda, and salt, and set aside.
  3. Cream butter until soft. add sugar vanilla, and sour cream, and cinnamon and nutmeg to smell.
  4. Stir in flour mixture
  5. Refrigerate until well chilled.
  6. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness.
  7. Cut into shapes and bake on parchment lined cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Light brown in the middle and slightly darker on the edges makes for a tender, soft cookie.
